Parish Security & Lighting $9,000 - Last meeting, the same amount was approved - Originally request was for $18,000 but had been cut in half - this request is to complete the second half - not just a parish need, but a community need - polish school, big oak day camp, aa - Father Will spoke to the need for security & lighting, and discussed the finances - Brother Joe confirmed cameras are infrared - Brother Lou confirmed that we have the funds for this in the pipeline (golf outing) - Brother Paul noted the information from last meeting about our current spend rate, and also needs help determining which charity account (checking or mutal) Standing vote Tally of votes Yay 18 Nay 0 *Motion to accept 1st reading *Motion accepted ## Program Committee 1. Baptisms - 2 baptisms on August 18th (1pm and 2pm) - 2 baptims this upcoming Sunday - Brother Al is backing out of comittee - Brother John has difficulty with two baptisms on the same day. - Need 3rd person for this 2. Football Sweepstakes Recap - sold out all the tickets (180 tickets, $1800, $700 for counsel) 3. Deacon Jim’s Retirement - Sept.25 - Knights need to help with the setup of the parish center - motion for honorarium to Deacon Jim of $1,000 *Motion to accept 1st reading *Motion accepted 4.
