AHTN $1,500 (Brother Keith) - 1st reading *Motion to accept 1st reading - brief discussion *Motion Accepted 2. NAC Have a Heart $1,000 (Brother Len) - 1st reading *Motion to accept 1st reading - 100% pass through to specific causes - managed by the newtown athletic club owner - question about whether the funds are spent in accordance with our faith; not a concern based on what we know about the manager of the funds and the stated mission of the charity - They are willing to come to the meeting in January if there are any questions *Motion Accepted 3. St. Charles Borromeo Seminary Appeal $500 (Brother Keith) - 2nd reading *Motion to accept 2nd reading - question about the delivery via PO Box or direct address *Motion Accepted 4. St. John's Hospice $500 (Brother Lou) - Budgeted Item (this is the 2nd reading) *Motion to accept 2nd reading - Brother Lou shared some stories about this, which has been going on since 1991 - Brother Lou needs help at the start of the 11:30am Mass to load the trucks to bring the coats, gloves, hats, scarves *Motion Accepted ## Program Committee Report *Brother John Perdoch* 1. Baptisms (Brother John Perdoch) - 2 Baptisms on Nov 19th - 2 separate on Sun Dec 4th - Brother John is still looking for a backup to replace Brother Al - 3 Brothers have volunteered to be trained as backup 2. COAL (Chance of a Lifetime (Brother John Bowan) - cash prizes again - need to sell 75 tickets for council to be eligable for state scholarship - need to return things by April 5th to maximize the amount returned to the council - Brother Cary got it started buying some tickets, and Brother John will mail the council individually 3. Adopt-a-Family (Brother Jim or Brother Wayne) - Volunteers SUVs 12/17 at 7:30am - Volunteers for deliveries 12/17 at 8am or 8:30am 4. Creche/Banner Takedown (Brother Lou) - Volunteers 1/14/2023 at 8:30am - rake, 7/16th wrench, garbage bag, muscle 5.
