Tunnel to Towers Foundation, $500 (Brother Bill Meyer) - 1st reading - t2t.org - organization gives custom designed mortgage free homes to Gold Star and Fall First Responders - very worthy charity, Brother Joe knows someone personally who has benefited from it (family of friend who was marine and killed in Afghanistan) - the charity gave their family a mortgage free home. - approved charity in KOC Charitable Fund *Motion to accept 1st reading *Motion Accepted 2. Veteran's Multi-Service Center, $1000 (Brother Paul) - 1st reading - organization provides variety of services to veterans - 100% of proceeds go to charity - John Dabella from WMGK and wife involved for years - approved charity in KOC Charitable Fund *Motion to accept 1st reading *Motion Accepted 3. Philly Friends of V, $1,500 (Brother Wayne) - Budgeted item - In honor of Gary Gladwell, parishoner who passed away - Cornhole tournament May 20th fundraiser *Motion to accept 2nd reading (budget was 1st reading) *Motion Accepted 4. Wreaths Across America, $300 (Brother John Bowan) - 1st reading - Started in 2007, place wreaths on graves of honored dead - Place wreaths on graves Saturday before Christmas - We can put wreaths on the graves (volunteer opportunity, just ask Brother John for details) - Was $150 for 10 Wreaths, appears to have increased to $170 for 10 Wreaths - Cut off date is November 28th - As a result, we will table this until John can determine the actual price *Motion to accept 1st reading *Motion Tabled Until Further Notice ## Program Committee Report *Brother John Perdoch* 1. Baptisms (Brother John Perdoch) - 2 baptisms on Sunday Feb 19th - this past Sunday Brother Anthony's son was baptized - Father Will was in good form with jokes and getting the other children involved 2. Brother John wants to look into Designer Bag bingo or Chilli Cook Off or something like thing as a potential fundraiser that is not the Golf Outing 3. COAL (Chance of a Lifetime (Brother John Bowan) - more money trickling in 4.
