- Matt Farrel from Saint Ignatius Council
   - Sharing Excess 
      - excess food given to a TASK (Trenton Area Soup Kitchen)
   - McCaffery's currently working with them
      - volunteers work once a month (Saturday morning)
   - Shop Rite - in talks with them
   - May need more volunteers
   - Sounds similar to Bucks County Food Runners
      - Brother Len can provide more information
   - GK will provide Matt's information

## Grand Knight Report
- New transfer in (Brother John from Brooklyn)
- New member (Brother Dennis - greeter)
- Proposal for major change in Scholarship Program
   - expand from college tution to catholic high school tuition
   - expand from council only to parish in general
   - council members automatically approved
      - child of 3rd degree knight current on his dues
   - non-council parish members apply
      - only 2 children from non-parish will receive
      - applications consists of an essay
      - reviewed by Youth minister and Brother Jim Coyle
   - note in the announcements to encourage recruitment

- Fraternal Benefits Seminar - April 26th
   - Grand Knight asking for 7 members to attend this seminar
   - Part of reporting to KoC State Council


## Financial Secretary Report

- Still need 4 new members by June in order to qualify for the Star Council Award

   - Brother Chris said the audit is done, and just needs to be sent by Brother Wayne

   - renominated current State Deputy
   - nominated Eric Miller as delegate to Supreme Convention in Orlando FL
   - resolutions
- Exemplification - 4th Degree Dates
   - June 24th in Glenside, 70$ fee
   - Brother Bill Moredich will be getting his 4th degree
   - Cut off date for those interested is June 10th
- State Convention
   - Brother John will be representing us in Harrisburg
   

## Charity Committee Report

1. Tunnel to Towers Foundation, $500 (Brother Bill Meyer)
- Because it was only $500 and we changed our by-laws so that anything $500 or less only requires 1 reading, no 2nd reading is needed (we adjusted our own by-laws to match supreme)

2. Veteran's Multi-Service Center, $1000 (Brother Paul)
*Motion from Brother Paul to reduce the $1000 to $500 (for budgetary reasons)

- Brother Cary says we delivered to 88 families
- Very Successful Event!  Very Generous Parish!
   - Brother Lou suggested perhaps getting age range of the children

- Brother John is absent


## Old Business/New Business
- Mary's Garden Damage
   - Brothers Bill Meyers, Joe Semancek, and Mary
   - Storm blew one of the benches away
   - Brother Bill will meet with the landscapers
      - need new benches (stronger, not wood)
      - proposal for taking a layer of dirt off and instead put a thin layer of mulch
      - can't even read the names on the bricks
      - will have a proposal for the next meeting
