## Grand Knight Report
- Guest Speaker: Flame of Love
   - Joanna - friend of Brother Bill Moredich
   - St. Ignatius Parishoner who works with their KoC GK & Deacon
   - Flame of Love - add on to the rosary prayers for souls in purgatory
   - Hungarian mystic approved by the Church
   - Joanna left behind some literature and is hoping an SJE parishoner will take up leadership
- Star Council Award Presentation
   - In addition, award bling for Brother John Perdoch and Brother Cary Yonce
- Jesse Tree
   - Michelle is now the youth minister, so she is stepping down from Jesse Tree
   - Father Will asked Walter to help with replacement
   - Brother Jim Coyle and Wayne can help with the Adopt-a-Family ones, but not all
   - Brother Joe Mursch and his awesome wife Pat agreed to take over the Jess Tree

   - Len has offered to deliver the check

## Program Committee Report

1. Baptisms (Brother John Perdoch)
   - 3 Baptisms on Sunday 9.18 with Father Rudy
   - October 1st (no rosaries)
2. Legacy of Life Bottle Drive (Brother Chris Mazzeo)
   - Needed 2 more volunteers this weekend
   - Brother Lou's wife is one of the speakers
   - Brother Joe Mursch, Brother Len said they will fill the spots
   - This weekend handing out envelopes, next weekend collecting them
   - Happier with the Envelopes instead of Bottles
3. Football Sweepstakes (Brother Chris Mazzeo)
   - Over $1500 raised
   - Not as many people purchased them this time
   - Lot of asking for money
4. Golf Committee (Brother Len/Lou)
   - September 25th at Makefield Highlands
   - Wrap up this Tuesday at DiLorenzos
   - Rainy day - bad weather but good fund raising
   - Brother Joe Mursch won the TV!
   - Brother Lou stated the need for young blood on the Golf Committee
   - 2 anonymous donors, 120 golfers, 140 people at dinner
   - Brought in a lot of money, about the same as last year!
5. Adopt-a-Family (Brother Jim Coyle)
   - Sent out 90 letters, 60 responses
   - Signups start Oct 21st
6. Coats for Kids (Brother John Perdoch)
   - Sunday 11/12 1-3pm - Free New Coat Give Away
   - 528 coats able to purchase
   - Flyer went out to Catholic Social Services, Social Concerns, LMT website, etc.
   - Catholic Services will help us get any excess coats to Catholic Services in Philadelphia
7. Jesse Tree (Brother Joe Mursch)
   - Brother Joe and his wife Pat will be leading the Jesse Tree campaign
   - 700 - 900 children get gifts from this
   - lots of work and planning
   - Plan for the tree to go up the week before Turkey Day
   

## Old Business/New Business - Updates from GK
- Keep Christ in Christmas Poster Contest
   - Everyone in PREP creates a poster
   - PREP staff then judge and pick winners from age groups
   - Knights will provide the winners with gift cards
   - winners go to state/supreme/international contest
- Commemorative Brick Campaign
   - Brother Joe Kelly needs to step aside
   - Need a brother to step up for this
- Approached with request for a brother in financial need
   - Bylaws allow automatic $500
   - GK wants to make it $1000, but needs approval
