For Catholics and Knights alike, the Eucharist is the “source and summit of the Christian life” â the foundation of our vigor in all our endeavors. In receiving the Lord through Holy Communion, we are nourished and then dispatched to act as Christ’s ambassadors to all we meet, whether at home, in the workplace, or within the broader community.
The U.S. bishops have extended an invitation to all American Catholics to engage in a National Eucharistic Revival. This initiative seeks to rejuvenate, or possibly ignite for the first time, every Catholic’s comprehension of and commitment to the Eucharist. In alignment with this initiative, the Knights of Council 7515 played a pivotal role in the Eucharistic Procession held at St. John the Evangelist campus on Thursday, May 30th. Despite the procession taking place mid-afternoon on a weekday, 12 Knights availed themselves as canopy carriers and candle bearers.
